Robert Pergl was born on 7.12.1968 in Czech Republic. He graduaded from Charles University, Faculty of Law, in 1993. The field of studies was diplomacy and international trade. He is fluent in Czech, English, German and Russian and has basic knowledge in French.
Mgr. Robert Pergl is chairman and founding member of Czech Gulf Business Coucil - Czech registered chamber of commerce for support of export, import and investments in Czech – GCC countries. The Council has an ambition to simultaneously maintain and support Czech factories, investors and exporters to expand their influence in the GCC states, and also attract new GCC investors and exporters to the Czech market. Arranging monitoring of the Czech market from this territory, assisting in the development of various opportunities and providing information needed for investing in Czech companies. The Council´s vision is to implement representation in the GCC countries which will assist Czech companies in establishing the necessary network for establishing a new business in the GCC market and to provide legal services, financial counselling and opening doors to important people.
Mr. Pergl is also acting as a senior partner in the law firm Pergl & Partners, which is one of the oldest and most established law firms in the Czech Republic, connecting international expertise with local knowledge and contacts. Throughout its existence the law firm has received numerous awards for its activity: Law firm of the year in the field of Public procurement (2008, 2010, 2014) and Law firm of the year in the field of Intellectual property (2012).
Robert Pergl is a Co-owner and Vice-chairman of Scuderia Praha, an importer of Ferrari and Maserati automobiles into the Czech Republic.
He is a Co-owner of Concours d'Elegance, which is the most luxurious classic event in the Middle and East Europe.
Mr. Pergl is also a Co-owner of Loucen, Inc., a castle including hotel and restaurant facilities.
Prof. Ing. Michal Mejstřík, PhD. holds the position of Vice-Chairman Czech Gulf Business Council, z.s., and also a chairman of the company EEIP focused on international restructuring, finance and investment. In the years 2009-2014 he was a member of the National Economic Council. He served in a number of statutory bodies of major companies such as ČEZ and RWE group. From 2009 to 2011 he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CSA, then until 2014 chaired the Supervisory Board of Czech Aeroholding Inc. Michal Mejstřík has been also a professor of finance and banking at Charles University, where from 1993 until 2010, he had served as founding director of the prestigious Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences. Since 2011 he has been a member of the global International Chamber of Commerce World Council, and chaired Czech national ICC council for two terms. In the past Prof. Mejstřík co-organized first ever forums dedicated to Islamic banking (link) and trade between the Czech Republic and Islamic countries (link), which were held for the abundant participation of top managers of Czech companies and companies from Islamic countries, representatives of governments and institutions of participating countries, experts and export a specialist on international trade.
Ing. Miroslav PETRÍK has more than 15 years experience in top management of health facilities and companies engaged in information technology. He manages the instruments of strategic and crisis management and the human resources management. For many years he worked at the public authoritystrong> and the governmental authority, including the position of the Health Board. He is well versed in the issues of health financing, structure and functioning of health insurance companies. Mr. Petrík has led major projects in health and information technology field, conceptual materials processing. He now holds the position of Vice Chairman and Vice President of the Council, where he covers numerous business activities between the Czech and Arabic market.
